GOP Chairman Jonah Kaauwai later wrote, "From that email alone we have gotten 6 outstanding individuals to step forward to become a candidate for office."

The Party is currently running ads asking members of the public to help give the people a choice by running for office. Says Kaauwai, "Candidates have until July 20 to file their papers, so the time is now to act. . . . We must challenge every Democrat this year because their policies of high taxes, wasteful government spending and obedience to Union Bosses will only end if we replace them."
