Ellsberg Fears American Government Seeks Life of Wikileaks Founder

Assange has canceled a scheduled Las Vegas appearance and made a New York appearance only via Skype, saying at the time that lawyers recommended that he not go to the U.S.

Wikileaks may be on the verge of publishing a large number of secret State Department cables. U.S. government officials tell The Daily Beast that their publication could do serious damage to national security.
